Welcome to the finish line - Week 5 in the Life Transitions series. Let's take a breath and look back at the road we've traveled and the themes we've covered.
Five weeks ago, we began this series with a simple premise: life keeps asking us to grow, whether we feel ready or not. Sometimes, the call is a subtle, quiet sense of restlessness. Other times, it crashes in, loud and non-negotiable. In Week 1, we explored the nature of change, rarely convenient but often necessary. We concluded that growth usually doesn't follow a polished and predictable trajectory but a messy, weird, and deeply human meandering.
In Week 2, we stood inside the identity gap. We explored the weird limbo where the old version of you no longer fits, but the new one hasn't fully formed. We talked about how disorienting it can feel to be in between selves and how to navigate that space without rushing to escape it.
Then came the turbulence. In Week 3, we named the emotional weather that storms through transitions, doubt, fear, and flashes of hope. We explored how to stay present and move forward through it all without numbing or spiraling into worst-case scenarios.
And in Week 4, we got practical. When everything feels too big, the answer is to go small. Tiny commitments, those deceptively simple steps most overlook, become our footholds. They help us build momentum and a sense of safety, even when the path ahead is unclear.
Which brings us here.
To The Crossroads.
