After writing my last piece on what just happened in Venezuela, I started looking for the silver lining. There are actually two developments I’ll be watching with my fingers crossed for in the aftermath. And I wanted to share with you some very hopeful social trends we clocked in 2025 that got overlooked amid the barrage of shit hitting the fan. I know it’s easy to lose the forest for the trees, but trust me, what is quietly underway in US society is likely to be more important than what is happening on the stage of our national political circus.

Allow me to explain and include some things you probably didn’t know because the American media is likely not covering them, or at least not enough.
