To the people who responded to my 3-question survey, you totally ROCK! Thank you.
If you missed it, here it is again: Your Voice = Your Life Intelligence. I write for you, so tell me what you want.

I like watching true crime documentaries. There, I came out clean.

Last night I watched one about a clearly psychopathic Russian woman who was poisoning people for money, and tried to assume someone else's identity to avoid going back to Russia, and facing a murder trial.

One of the detectives trying to locate her saw the dashboard of the car she was in in the reflection of her sunglasses in a social media selfie. On the backrest of her seat, he spotted unique stitching that led him to the parking lot of the Brooklyn train station, where he went from car to car to look for a type of car matching these details.

From a cluster of check-ins on her social media, he determined where to send his team looking for that type of car. Cross-referencing car registrations and license plates, they finally zeroed in on her car and apprehended her.

Two things about that. First, if you are going to commit crimes, you probably shouldn't have a social media presence that could lead future detectives to you.

Second, there are truly evil people out there. Unconsionably diabolical. Machiavellian manipulators. I hope you and I never have the misfortune of meeting one.

Psychopathy exists on a spectrum. You have people with some traits causing limited damage, and those that make the hair on the back of your neck stand out in fear and disgust, and the blood boil in your veins in anger. Some of them are politicians…

You might have dated one, or worse, married one. The psychopathic person might have been your boss, a co-worker, or a friend who took advantage of you. Even a family member who drove you crazy.
