Welcome to the (new) free edition of Life Intelligence.
I've decided to deliver a free post to you every Sunday.
On Wednesdays, I'll continue with my deeper dives into interesting topics related to personal growth, life and relationship challenges, and some personal essays. I might even share some of my creative writing stuff when I am ready. LOL.
In today's issue of Life Intelligence…
What I've learned from my YouTube adventure and how that's going.
Where I am taking Lulu B shortly.
What to expect in your inbox on Wednesday.

#1 What I've learned from my YouTube adventure
If you didn't know before, you know now. I've revived my YouTube channel. I used to make videos begrudgingly before. I didn't know how to market them or edit them. Basically, I just sat in front of my phone and talked off the cuff.
I made a ton of videos a few people ever watched, and probably because I told them to. I made them for those who already enjoyed my writing and teaching. It was just one more way to deliver food for thought to them. And since I am no Tony Robbins, the videos attracted minimal attention.
Also, I was only making them once in a while. It turns out YouTube doesn't like this, and it doesn't like a lot of other things, too. It seems to censor all sorts of stuff for various reasons. Sometimes, it is only from specific creators, while others use similar content with impunity.
Is YouTube censorship a good thing or a bad thing? What is your experience, and what do you think?
It makes ME feel "watched" and not in the way I'd like to be. I want to be watched enough to get 4000 public hours and 1000 subscribers to monetize the channel.
Why, you ask? Why not? It seems like a HUGE nut to crack. I like nuts, and I like cracking them. So, I am trying.
However…. I might suck at it. I am not fishing for compliments. I am self-assessing after the latest seven videos I made in 2 weeks.
You don't believe me?

Give me some feedback. Please do. Don't be shy. How else would I improve if people only told me what I wanted to hear? Critique away!
Also, it will really help to feed the algorithm what it wants so it will show me more to others. Like, subscribe, and comment on the videos.
The subjects I discuss are related to life and relationships and are valuable to people. I even got a call for a coaching session from someone who watched the video on narcissistic partners and narcissistic abuse.
#2 Where is Lulu going next
I've booked a car for a month so we can drive around and explore Bulgaria like tourists because we are. Even though I was born and lived here as a teenager, I apparently didn't go to many places. Also, the country has changed in the 30+ years I've been gone, and new places have appeared on the tourist maps.
One of these, discovered accidentally in the village of Starosel, is an "underground temple, the largest of its kind in the Balkan Peninsula, built under the Chetinyova Mogila (tumulus) and a mausoleum. The temple, as well as the nearby Thracian king's residence under Mount Kozi Gramadi, likely date to the reign of Amadocus II (359-351 BC)," as per Wikipedia.
We'll stay in the nearby town of Hisarya, known for its healing thermal springs. The Romans built a resort there with a huge bathhouse, which still stands.
One thing about Bulgaria, though, is that Lulu is allowed to roam around all the ancient ruins she wants, sleep in hotels for free, and hike in the national parks. She went to a few galleries in Sofia, too. The only requirement was that I hold her in my arms. The dog got to see art while getting pets at the same time!!!
We'll be heading to the Black Sea later, but more about that later.
#3 What to expect in your inbox on Wednesday
Speaking of challenges, on Wednesday, I'll be writing about turning challenges into oportunities and why we must continue to challenge ourselves. Always. Trust me when I tell you that challenges are GREAT for you! Even the ones you didn't pick for yourself.
Keep an eye out for Wednesday's "Turning troubles and self-inflicted challenges into triumphs (or at least a good story)."

My husband and I have subscribed and watched your YouTube videos. They look good. The last video we watched listed advice for moving forward after a relationship with a narcissist. It was a lot of great information. We did take two sessions to watch it, maybe break the videos into 2 parts when you have a lot to cover. Or, maybe, my attention span has declined. If that is the case, you could provide a Life Intelligence about strengthening attention span!
