You found Baltimore to be much as I found it. I don't remember being anywhere near "The Middle East" or Cherry Hill-unless the Poe House is in one of those. Nobody bothered me in that area-they had enough to deal with already. Little Italy and the waterfront were most welcoming.
Like you, I never got COVID. I did have RSV, over last Thanksgiving, but enjoyed the taste of everything, anyway.
