you never fail to inspire my determination to succeed - on my own terms and within my own context. I'm struggling with effective time use right now, and chances to clear my head to write anything meaningful are few and far between. I started a post today, got thru 2 paragraphs, typed your name to start the third, and then clicked in and read this one.
Exactly what I needed. The words we use place us in mental handcuffs, and we keep fake-flailing to find the key. Knowing all along it's right where we hid it.
thanks for being you -
PS I love oatmeal - I start almost every day with a cup - try adding a spoon of peanut butter - yummy. I wore my high school letterman jacket to my 40th reunion, jus sayin.
Like you, I have contingency plans for about 1,000 possible courses of events. My breakfast isn't perfect, but it's not fast food, either. My immune system, nourished by do Terra supplements and exercise, has kept the nasty virus at bay (along with the three vaxes that my employer demanded). Mother never accepted excuses, so I became an adult knowing that if I did offer excuses, they would fall flat. Life is life; that's all.

Glad it was useful. Never tried oatmeal with peanut butter...

You certainly provided food for thought. I am 83 years old and want to keep going. It seems that wise decisions and making plans are key components.
An excellent, timely article. Thanks!
Thank you Valentina, Just what I needed to hear today😊❤️
