Looking for Marco Rubio's "blacklist"
On how exaggeration makes us stupid

I’ve been living aboard the Hail Mary ship on a journey to save the Earth from certain death. It’s only been a few days for me flipping pages, but if you know your relativity, you know how time dilates. My few days with a human and an alien on a dangerous interstellar adventure are the equivalent of several news cycles in America.
Somehow, America still exists despite my inattention to controversial political details.
Upon my “return,” I am told that our Secretary of State/National Security Adviser/Acting Archivist of the United States (what’s that?)/Acting Administrator of the USAID(didn’t this get DOGEd?), the one and only, multitalented Marco Rubio has released a 100-page report, blacklisting a bunch of politically inconvenient US Citizens and organizations.
I am told that the Mayors of NYC and LA, George Floyd, Rep. Oman, and even Amy Goodman from Democracy Now are blacklisted. As in the Red Scare and McCarthyism of the 50s.
Supposedly, this is all over the news. Big news. Can-you-believe-it news.
